Consent to International Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Information: We will store and process information we receive about you, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Our e-commerce store is hosted on Shopify Inc., a Canadian company. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. You agree that notice to you will count as notice to others for whom you are acting, and agree to pass the notice on to them.

Google Analytics

Cookies from the American company Google are placed on our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website.

This processor may be required to provide access to this data due to applicable laws and regulations. We collect information about your surfing behavior and pass this data on to Google. Google can interpret this information in conjunction with other data sets and thus track your movements on the Internet. Google uses this information, among other things, to offer targeted advertising (AdWords) and other Google services and products.

Agreement on order processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for “Google products and services”. This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and then use it to improve Google services. The data release to Google as part of these data release settings is based on an additional agreement between those responsible. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

We also use the Google Optimize extension function of Google Analytics to create and carry out tests.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called user ID function. Using this function, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data from one or more sessions on our online presence and thus analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.

For web analysis, so-called “cross-device tracking” is made possible by the extension function of Google Analytics. If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the “personalized advertising” setting in your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behavior (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you change your device. We do not process personal data; we only receive statistics created on the basis of Google Signals.

Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results and on third-party websites, the so-called Google remarketing cookie is set when you visit our website. This cookie is automatically set through the collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) and enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous CookieID, based on the pages you visit. Data processing beyond this only takes place if you have activated the “personalized advertising” setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure your subsequent usage behavior if you came to our website via a Google Ads advertisement. For this purpose, cookies can be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or registering for a newsletter) can be collected, from which pseudonymous usage profiles are created.

Registration

To make the ordering process even easier for you, we offer you the opportunity to register with us. The data that you transmit to us as part of the registration process are your email address, title, name, and address. We use this data to process the service you use. After successful registration, you can view your order history in your user account.

You can change your user account or have it deleted at any time. The data will then be completely deleted from our system with the exception of data that we have to keep within the statutory periods as part of the order for tax reasons.

Contact Form

You have the option of writing to us using an online contact form. For this purpose, we collect your name and email address and, optionally, your telephone number so that we can process your request quickly and contact you via the desired contact method if you have any questions.

We use information that you provide to us in the context of complaints or general contact exclusively to process your request. Your consent can be revoked at any time, and we will stop the corresponding data processing.

Online Shop

We use the data you provide to fulfill and process your order. To fulfill the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, to the extent that this is necessary to deliver the ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, the payment service provider commissioned by us, or to the selected payment service, in order to process payments. The selected payment service providers sometimes collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. The data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.

Security of Data

We strive to ensure the security of your data within the framework of the applicable data protection laws. For this reason, the transmission of data and information to our server and to our contractual partners is encrypted. Your details are then transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa. Internet transmission is appropriately secure. You can recognize this by the lock symbol on the status bar of your browser being closed and the address line beginning with https://. HTTP requests are automatically redirected to https.

Newsletter

You have the option of registering for our free newsletter. For this, we need your title, your name, and your email address. We use this data exclusively for the personalized sending of the newsletter. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to send the newsletter, i.e., we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have previously expressly confirmed to us that we should activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this email.

If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can object to this at any time. As long as you do not unsubscribe from the newsletter or revoke your consent, we will save the email address you provided as well as your title and name and send you newsletters with advertising content to the email address you confirmed. If you revoke your consent, your data will be completely deleted. You will then not receive any further newsletters from us. A message in text form to the contact details mentioned above (e.g., e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

Right to Object

To the extent that we process personal data as explained above to protect our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, you can object to this processing with effect for the future. If the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you can exercise this right at any time as described above. If processing is carried out for other purposes, you only have the right to object if there are reasons that arise from your particular situation.

After exercising your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of serves legal claims.
