Fantastic shorts, convenient internal pockets on the compression layer which i use for keys and gels, zip pocket is fine for carrying phone, no flapping around and optimal size for a 6.7" phone.
The size guide is all wrong, and other reviewers don't seem to realise the compression layer is supposed to be tight.
I initially went with large (never bought anything large in my life), size guide says it's correct for 30-31" waist - I'm actually 34 but wear a 32 so thought they'd actually be a close fit, no, they are huge on me. I have since ordered 2 pairs of Medium and they're perfect with the drawstrings tied.
Paired with some bamboo fiber boxers I have zero chaffing even in the rain, have storage that doesn't flap about, and they're actually quite stylish
Unless you're a "larger build" just ignore the measurements/reviews and get medium if you usually get medium, do not go up a size - repeat, do not go up a size!!!

Love these shorts so much I bought several pairs. They are a great fit, have 2 zipped pockets and 2 pockets on the inside short, perfect for phone and keys when out running. Unlike some big brands the waist tie is thick and strong and can be tied tight without snagging. Highly recommended.
