Description

This is a Powerball Hand Trainer, designed to train the muscles of the forearm and wrist.

No force is required—the wrist rotates in the center of the inner ball to generate centrifugal force, allowing it to spin at high speed.

An internal elastic self-starting device enables the ball to start instantly by pressing and releasing.

Multicolored lights add extra fun to the training.

Train hand and forearm strength while enhancing interest in exercise.

The Powerball comes with a safety strap, brand card, user manual, and gift box.

Please ensure not to touch the rotating part with your hands during training.

The many positive effects of training with the Powerball Hand Trainer can be summarized as follows:

Increases grip strength and finger coordination

Trains fingers, wrists, shoulders, forearms, and upper arms

Engages deep muscles

Relieves neck muscle tension

Enhances sports performance and muscle endurance

A portable, everyday training device

Just a few minutes a day are enough

There is a learning curve

I have had carpal before and this week I could feel it flaring up so I ordered this gyro ball because i heard its more effective than the self start up ones. I cant comment on this as this is my only gyroball but the workout this gives is INTENSE.

I found the best tip to keep the ball going is having a very fast start with the string. You should already be feeling the centripetal force just from the start. Then you start making smooth slow circles until the force picks up. My biggest mistake was making fast wobbly circles as if i was flailing it around trying to get the speed up desperately but its the opposite. When it gets fast enough, let the ball move your hand and you guide it with smooth slow circles.

Great piece of kit

Having broken my hand I needed to strengthen my grip and the Physio recommended this. It is tricky to start it off but having reviewed it on YouTube and trying it first on my good hand and swapping it over to keep it moving. I can now start it off on my bad hand and keep it going for a much longer. Within 10 seconds I could feel my hand beginning to tire but working with this ball over a matter of a few weeks, I can now keep it going for longer and have been able to open up a jar/bottle top.

Perseverance is the key and then it's great fun.

There are minimal multi-lingual instructions with the product. When I first tried it, my reaction was like another reviewer's: 'Oh no, it doesn't work, it's useless' and so on. However, I persevered with learning how to start it and then move my wrist in the correct way. It was very useful searching Google and YouTube, for demonstrations and explanations on how to start and use this and other makes of such balls (they are all basically the same). Within an hour or two I had mastered it and it is great fun to use. Once you get the gyroscope turning inside it, the sensation of force it generates is strange but in a pleasant way. The morning after using it, I could feel that my wrists and forearms had had a workout. Exercise equipment that is fun to use is more likely to stay in use than end up abandoned in the back of a cupboard.
I liken getting used to this ball to learning how to use a yoyo. You can't get it to work at first but perseverance is the key and then it's great fun.

Great for strengthening

This is convenient to use wherever you get the chance to use. It feels well constructed and I can feel the benefits of using this, to help strengthen my wrist. I fractured my wrist 8 weeks ago and started using it to help with recovery from injury. I am currently using it it at a gentle pace but I do feel better for using it. Good value for money.
